"This Christmas could be the cat's meow"

Holly is traveling across the country for an important business trip. The moment she gets off her flight, she receives a phone call from her BFF, who has stopped by her apartment to feed her cat, Freddie...but Freddie is nowhere to be found. Holly immediately panics as she realizes that she may have accidentally locked Freddie out of the apartment when she left for the airport. After an afternoon of frantic phone calls, Holly’s panic subsides when she receives a text with a picture of Freddie curled up on the couch of her neighbor, Paul, a travel blogger. Over the course of the next few days, Holly receives a series of pictures of Freddie and Paul in various locations around town, hanging out and basically living a cat’s best life.

When Holly returns from her trip, she is reunited with Freddie, and formally introduced to his new human friend, Paul. Holly and Paul begin a new friendship as well, bonding over mutual interests. Their friendship quickly begins to develop into deeper feelings for each other. But, with the unexpected return of Holly’s ex, a no-nonsense doctor (who is allergic to cats), their brand new relationship is put to the test.
