One week ago, Kelli was on top of the world;  an up-and-coming executive at a top Denver outdoor apparel company with a killer condo and a dreamy boyfriend named Brody.  Fast-forward seven days, and she has lost her job, her condo, and Brody.  Kelli's one silver lining is when she discovers that her best friend has entered her into a contest, and she wins the grand prize!  An all-expense paid trip to...Denver.

Kelli is beginning to believe that if it weren't for bad luck, she'd have no luck at all.  With nothing to lose, she decides to go on the trip, where she meets Nathan, an out-of-towner who has been stood up by his (now ex-) girlfriend, Aubrey.  Together, Kelli and Nathan experience all the touristy amenities that Denver has to offer, and their easy friendship begins to develop into something more along the way.  But when Aubrey returns unnanounced and unexpected, their fledgling relationship is threatened just as it has berely begun.
