When Natalie met Sterling, she was swept off her feet, taken by his ambition, resolve, and confidence. When he proposed to her, she replied with an enthusiastic “yes.” Over a year later, she is still waiting for him to commit to setting a date. Whenever she broaches the subject, he tells her that he is waiting to give her the wedding she deserves. Her attempts to assure him that she doesn’t need a fancy wedding seem to fall on deaf ears. He has been working 24/7 and traveling constantly to build his real estate empire, and, though her feelings for him haven’t changed, her patience is starting to wear thin.

 

When Sterling informs her that he has planned a romantic ski resort getaway for the two of them, Natalie is thrilled, and believes that this may be just what they need to rekindle their relationship. She is surprised when she arrives at the resort to find that her ex boyfriend – and Sterling’s business partner – Charles, is already there. Natalie’s surprise turns into anger when she realizes that the real reason for the trip was for Sterling to have a business meeting with the resort owner. Natalie begins to question her relationship with Sterling, and to wonder if she should have stayed with Charles.
